New Work

I’m busy in the studio developing a new body of work at the moment that is inspired by relics and religious symbols. I have been looking at temples of worship, churches and particularly interested in motifs that have been carved into wooden door panels and votive tablets that have been hand carved and left as offerings. I have been creating relief textures in glass based on wooden carvings that look as if after years of touch the motif has become soft and smooth.
